Manchester Art Gallery Clothes Swap

Hosted at Manchester Art Gallery and scheduled for Saturday 28th January, the Clothes Swap event is a great way to get some new outfits and enjoy a unique shopping experience. If you're all about sustainable fashion and want to be kinder to the planet when it comes to your wardrobe, then this is an event that should not be missed. You can book via Eventbrite, and tickets are £7.50. All you need to do is bring along all your unwanted or unworn clothes and swap them for clothes that are new to you, to refresh your wardrobe. The clothes swap includes men’s and women’s clothing, and you can bring up to ten garments per person.

Northern Fashion Week

BeeUtiful Anti-Bullying Fashion Event

Held at Albert’s Shed, Castlefield, on the 12th February 2023, this fashion event is set to be an empowering afternoon, with an anti-bullying fundraiser for BeeU. Hosted by Northern Lashes Ltd and Flair Boutique UK, the event is all about fashion and beauty with socialising, shopping, and saying no to bullying. Along with being about fashion, this collaborative event is also about promoting supporting each other and being kind. All proceeds from the fundraiser are going to BeeU, a touring drama-based workshop that focuses on the topic of bullying, to support their essential work in educating young people and stamping bullying out.


The Frock Shop: Fashion Shopping in the Sixties

If you are a lover of vintage fashion, then this event in Yorkshire is perfect for you. Planned for the 20th April 2023 at the Bankfield Museum in Halifax, the event is linked to the ‘Opening the Wardrobe’ exhibition that will be available to view at the museum throughout the year, showcasing some of the History Wardrobe Collection from Lucy Adlington. It’s a great chance to celebrate some of the biggest designs from the 60s, whether you remember them or not!


The National Asian Wedding Show Manchester

There’s something simply stunning about traditional Asian wedding attire, and whether you are getting married or not, this is definitely an event not to miss. The largest Asian wedding show in Manchester brings you breath-taking dresses, accessories, and more with amazing catwalk shows throughout the day. Entry is free, and it’s planned for 5th February 2023 at Emirates Old Trafford in Stretford.
